About The Role  

The Marketing team at Lucem Health drives growth by crafting compelling messaging, building brand awareness, and generating qualified leads for the commercial team. 

The Marketing Intern will work closely with the Director of Marketing, supporting initiatives that help Lucem Health strengthen its market presence, engage prospective customers, and create compelling content that communicates our value proposition. This role offers exposure to healthcare innovation, digital health strategy, and the operational side of a fast-growing health technology startup. 

More specifically, the intern will assist the Marketing and Commercial teams in supporting commercial growth through activities including content creation, digital marketing, conference engagement, and market research that help advance Lucem’s strategic growth initiatives. 

  • Location: Remote (TX, MN, NY preferred)  
  • Time Commitment: 10–15 hours per week  
  • Compensation: $20/hour 

Responsibilities: 

  • Work closely with the Marketing team to support marketing initiatives and sales enablement. 
  • Assist in creating and editing content for various channels, including social media, blog posts, email campaigns, and the company website. 
  • Support planning and promotion for industry conferences, webinars, and other strategic events. 
  • Track marketing campaign performance and engagement activity using CRM and marketing automation systems. 
  • Assist with pre- and post-event communications to engage attendees and nurture leads. 
  • Support the preparation of presentations, marketing collateral, and sales materials. 
  • Compile and communicate insights from market research, campaign performance, and industry events. 
  • Help maintain documentation of marketing activities, event outcomes, and internal processes. 
  • Perform additional duties or support special projects as needed to meet business needs. 

Qualifications: 

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree.  
  • Expected graduation 2026–2027.  
  • Strong organizational, communication (written and verbal), and project management skills.  
  • Analytical mindset with interest in market research, business strategy, or partnerships.  
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.  
  • Self-starter who can take initiative and work independently when needed.  
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. 

Preferred Qualifications  

  • Previous internship or leadership experience in communications, marketing, or healthcare.  
  • Experience with event planning, student organizations, or project coordination.  
  • Interest in healthcare innovation, AI in healthcare, or digital health startups.  
  • Familiarity with CRM/marketing automation tools (HubSpot), design tools (Figma/Canva), research tools, or CMS (WordPress, etc.) is a plus.
